For almost twenty years, every summer, the MVP Track & Field Club – one of the most prestigious track and field teams in the world – has chosen Hotel & Wellness Fra i Pini as their home away from home for their summer training camp.
A relationship built on respect, professionalism, and mutual care, born in 2006 and renewed with enthusiasm every year.

Comfortable and quiet rooms, ideal for rest and post-training recovery;
Energetic breakfasts and meals tailored to athletes’ needs;
A wellness center and heated pool to relax body and mind after intense training days;
Flexibility and discretion, ensuring the right balance between focus, well-being, and privacy;
Logistical support, including transfers to and from the Teghil Stadium.
What sets us apart is the family-like atmosphere – attentive yet never intrusive – that makes every athlete feel welcomed, respected, and listened to.

Year after year, we have welcomed Olympic champions, world record holders, and rising stars. We have shared in their victories, their moments of focus, their spontaneous smiles in our garden, and their evenings of relaxation after international meetings.
We are proud and happy to have been – even in a small way – part of the journey of athletes like Elaine Thompson, Asafa Powell, Shelly‑Ann Fraser‑Pryce, Michael Frater, Melaine Walker, and many others.
The summer camp in Lignano Sabbiadoro
Every summer, from June to September, the team trains at the Guido Teghil Municipal Stadium, a modern and well-equipped facility located just a few minutes from our hotel.
In this ideal setting, athletics meets the sea, nature, and well-being.
The training period often culminates in participation in the Meeting Sport Solidarietà, an international event held at the Teghil Stadium, where many MVP athletes take the spotlight.
